On January 18, 2025, Grades 1, 2, and 3 families gathered to celebrate their Cluster Family Day with the theme “Build Memories Together, One Step at a Time.”
The festivities started with a Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF, the School Director, and concelebrated by Fr. Charles Jocris Mortela, CMF, the Spiritual Director. During the Homily, Fr. Mau reminded the Claretians about the importance of being witnesses of Joy as we build memories together.
After the Mass, Mrs. Razerly Ibañez, MAEd, the School Principal, delivered a warm and welcoming speech. She expressed her gratitude to all families for their continuous support. She emphasized the importance of events like Family Day in fostering stronger connections among students, parents, and the entire school community. As part of the gathering, an exciting Zumba warm-up session was led by the Grades 2&3 Dance Club members. Students, parents, and teachers enthusiastically joined as they danced to upbeat music. The session was the perfect way to get everyone moving and laughing as they prepared for the fun games.
The PE teachers facilitated a series of Fun Games: the Hoop Pass Game, the Sprint and Hurdles Game, and the Zigzag Run and Cone Arrangement Relay. Laughter filled the football field as parents and children joined forces to tackle each game, enjoying the playful and spirited challenges.
Among the day's highlights was a stunning performance by the Alab LED Poi Dancers. The dancers took the stage and performed their mesmerizing routine with LED lights illuminating the hall, adding to the moment's magic. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that left the gathered community in awe and wonder.
Throughout the day, the PTA provided extra excitement with raffle prizes, which included Samsung tablets, Smartwatches, and Lego sets as main prizes. Every participant was a winner, and everyone went home with a prize. It was a wonderful way for the PTA to show appreciation to the families for their active involvement. To conclude the day, the Grade 1, 2, and 3 PTA level presidents Mrs. Katherine M. Lemi, Mrs. Mat Paz Ellen Krishna C. Rivera, and Mr. Jonathan D. Azares delivered heartfelt closing remarks. They sincerely thanked all the families, teachers, and students who made the Cluster Family Day a success. Their words highlighted the importance of events like these in building lasting memories and fostering a strong, connected community.
As families made their way home, they kept with them more than the raffle prizes—they kept every moment, which was celebrated in togetherness and joy—great memories built one step at a time.
