Last February, the School community came alive with color, creativity, and purpose through Kalikasiyahan Arts Month 2026. The celebration provided Grade 4–6 learners with meaningful opportunities to express themselves through a variety of hands-on artistic workshops.

Students explored Monoprint and Printmaking, facilitated by Mr. Emilio S. Jacinto, Jr. with the assistance of Ms. Stephanie A. Planilla and Ms. Denise Franchesca Dipol. They also engaged in Coffee Painting led by Ms. Lizalyn D. Libot, and Mandala Weaving guided by Ms. Maricel D. Laxa and Mr. Jeric A. Calamno, together with selected Grade 6 students. Additionally, learners showcased their creativity through Mandala Paper Cutting under the guidance of Ma. Clarize S. Braga. These enriching activities strengthened their artistic skills while deepening their appreciation for Filipino culture and traditions.

The celebration became even more dynamic through lively dance and music sessions. Dance sessions for Grades 1–4 were facilitated by Ms. Hariette Faye C. Fernandez, while Grades 5–6 were guided by Mr. Runel F. Lagrimas. In Music, learners participated in Drum Sessions for Grades 1–3, conducted by Drum Circle PH led by Ms. Aurea A. Dagnalan, Mr. Benedick S. Amurao, and Ms. Yvette Lazaro. Meanwhile, Anklung sessions for Grades 4–6 were facilitated by Mr. Kenneth Troy S. Escalante. Through movement, rhythm, and sound, students expressed themselves creatively while developing awareness of real-world environmental issues.
The highlight of the celebration was the stunning collaborative art installations displayed at the Gallardo Hall Lobby, featuring selected works from Grades 1–6. Guided by the themes “Mundo ko, Iingatan ko” and “Mundo, Kulay at Kultura,” students used art as a powerful platform to promote environmental advocacy by utilizing sustainable and eco-friendly materials.
The success of this meaningful celebration was made possible through the collective efforts of the subject teachers and class advisers, whose guidance, support, and dedication played a vital role in nurturing the students’ talents and ensuring the smooth implementation of all activities.
Kalikasiyahan Arts Month 2026 showcased how art can inspire learners to become environmentally aware, confident, and culturally grounded individuals—proving that creativity, when guided with purpose, can contribute to a more sustainable and meaningful future. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
