Last January 27, 2026, three young learners from Grades 1 to 3 proudly represented Claret School of Quezon City in the first-ever Scholastic PR1ME Mathematics Olympiad Junior. This interschool individual competition aims to build early confidence, develop strong problem-solving skills, and prepare students for future participation in the PR1ME Mathematics Olympiad for Grades 4 to 6.

Representing the school were Liric Alcyth P. Abrenzosa of Grade 1-Wisdom, Jose Edgardo Manuel R. Blanza of Grade 2-Patience, and Elijah C. Oliva of Grade 3-Humility, who all commendably showcased their mathematical knowledge and skills in the prestigious competition, guided by Ms. Joevelyn F. Bonito, Mathematics Teacher for Grades 2 and 3.

Among participants from 72 competing schools nationwide, Grade 3 Claretian Elijah C. Oliva triumphed and secured a spot among the Top 10 Champions of the competition, reflecting not just his mathematical prowess but also his grit and commitment to excellence. The virtual awarding ceremony was held last March 14, 2026, during the International Day of Mathematics.
Congratulations to our pioneering young Claretian participants for their courage and enthusiasm in representing Claret School of Quezon City in this competition. Your accomplishments bring pride to the entire school community and serve as an inspiration for more young Claretians to pursue excellence in Mathematics both inside and beyond the classroom. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
