On October 24, 2023, in celebration of the feast of St. Anthony Mary Claret, Claretian students and teachers had an encounter with Claretian scholastics and seminarian in order to inspire young Claretian students to embrace the life of mission.

After the communal celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the School’s quadrangle, the missionaries-in-formation proceeded to their assigned classrooms for the encounter. Each cluster has designed the encounter activity starting with “getting to know” interaction.

During the encounter, the Claretian scholastics and seminarians shared their vocation and missionary  journey. The narratives about the challenges they have experienced and the lessons they have learned resonated with the students. Their stories also shed light on the profound reasons behind their choice in living the missionary life.
As a fraternal token after listening to the scholastics and seminarians, the students in each class presented a tribute. After the dynamic exchanges, a simple meal “agape” followed to keep the fiesta atmosphere in the classroom.

The said encounter was an enriching experience which nurtured fraternal bonds between the students and the Claretian missionaries-in-formation and consequently stirred the hearts of the young Claretians at CSQC to consider the Claretian missionary vocation. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
