On September 8, 2023, during the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, two Claretian Missionaries of the Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province, Fr. Ho Sy Nam, CMF and Fr. Nguyen Hang Vuong, CMF, were ordained to the Sacred Order of Presbyters at Tan Lap Parish in Ho Chi Minh City. Most Rev. Joseph Nguyën Näng, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh City, presided over the entire liturgy.

This historic ordination in Vietnam commemorates the official recognition of the Claretian presence in the country by the Vietnamese government, allowing the Claretians to actively participate in pastoral and social work within the local church. It also marks a significant moment in the Claretians' mission in Vietnam, symbolizing their 21-year journey of patience, dedication, and commitment to building understanding and trust among the Vietnamese people.

Fr. Nguyen Hang Vuong, CMF, currently serves in the Faith Education and Enrichment Department (FEED) of CSQC. The school community congratulates Fr. Vuong and prays for his perseverance in his missionary journey. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
