“There is a college for everyone”—This was the message sent to the Grade 12 students who attended a series of college virtual orientation with the initiative of the Student Development Center (SDC) in coordination with the Grade 12 level. Using the MS Teams, five universities were able to present college orientation last September 6, 15 and 23.

Because of the pandemic, the educational system was also affected, and everyone had to make some adjustments. Colleges and universities have suspended admissions tests and implemented new college admissions procedure and assessment. Most prestigious universities have based their college admissions on the grades of applicants.

The Virtual College Orientation helped the students be oriented with the academic programs of Ateneo de Manila University, Mapua University, University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines and De La Salle University. During the activity they were also able to ask relevant questions about the college admissions, requirements, and procedures. Through this undertaking , the Grade 12 students were assisted and  guided in choosing the college or university which could  be the best “match”for them and where they could  reach their full potential.
