Last November 14, 2025, the Cluster Assembly for Grades 1 to 3 was a joyful and meaningful gathering that brought the young Claretians together to celebrate learning, faith, and character.

The program opened with a warm welcome from the emcees, Lucas Gray D. Edralin, a Grade 1 student, and Ms. Lydia M. Garciano, Grade 1 Understanding Homeroom Adviser, followed by a fun and energetic warm-up activity led by the enthusiastic Grade 1 student leaders. The energy at the venue set the perfect tone for the rest of the event.

The cluster was honored to hear Ms. Maria Victoria Salud M. Urbiztondo, PhD, Assistant Principal for Academics (N-Grade 6), share important academic updates, underscoring the commitment to excellence in education. Ms. Michaella G. Borromeo then introduced the exciting SciMaTech activities, sparking curiosity and excitement among the young learners.

A special moment was dedicated to the School’s beloved patron saint, Saint Anthony Mary Claret. The students listened to a short story about his life. They were inspired by a heartfelt talk from Fr. Jeffrey C. Rasay, CMF, Head of Mission and Identity, who reminded the cluster of the saint’s unwavering faith, courage, and dedication to service, which started when he was still young like them.

The winners of the International Literacy celebration and Drake Raziel B. Rosales, who brought honor to the school through winning Taekwondo competitions were commended for their outstanding achievements and unwavering dedication. Their success serves as an inspiration to every student.

One of the most touching highlights of the assembly was the awarding of the Kindness Certificates, a tribute to students who consistently demonstrated compassion, respect, and generosity in their daily interactions. These young Claretians, who embody CSQC’s guiding principle: “Knowledge is best with virtue,” reminded everyone of the value of kindness within the Claretian community.

Their simple yet powerful acts—helping classmates, cleaning spaces, showing empathy, and spreading joy—are a testament to the values every Claretian holds dear. The awards

were given by Ms. Maria Gresilda P. Ticman, MEd., Dr. Urbiztondo, and Fr. Rasay, who each emphasized the importance of nurturing both the mind and the heart.

The assembly concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Maria Gresilda P. Ticman, MEd., Assistant Principal for Student Affairs, who encouraged everyone to continue striving for excellence and living out the Claretian values even when no one is looking. Noah Genesis A. Falcon led the community in a reflective closing prayer, and the event ended on a high note with the spirited Claret March.

The cluster assembly was a beautiful reminder that within the Claretian community, academic growth and virtuous living go hand in hand. Heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees and participants as well as gratitude to all the dedicated staff and supportive parents for their integral role in making this event truly special! #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
