With the theme GR4TEFUL: All 4 Fun, Fun 4 All, the Grade 4 Level had its family day last March 18, 2023 in the afternoon.

After the registration, Claretian fourth graders and their families were welcomed with colorful decorations and entertaining vibes as they entered the CSQC Auditorium. The gathering started with a Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF and Fr. Charles Jocris M. Mortela, CMF. During the homily, Claretians were reminded to love their parents, and likewise, parents to love their sons.

At the beginning of the program, the families were formally welcomed by Mrs. Razerly D. Ibañez, the School Principal. She highlighted the importance of collaboration between the home and the school and its positive impact to the performance of students. She added that the love and support of parents are essential to the development of a child.

This was followed by very lively and creative cheers and chants from the four sections. New breed of Claretian talents were also showcased during the different intermission numbers. Uriel Manzei Garin of 4-Apostolic serenaded the audience by singing “Easy on Me” and “As It Was.” “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko” was played on piano by Sancho Rafael Santos and sweetly sang by Daviel Arizala from 4-Biblical. Dominic Ranosa of 4-Eucharistic wowed the audience when he played “See You Again” masterfully. Members of Madrid Family from 4-Marian prepared a trendy TikTok dance video.

Furthermore, kids and their families joined games such as Bato-Bato Pik, Spell Me!, Walk and Stack Relay, and Squeeze and Pop. All participants, even those who did not win were given prizes for their effort and sportsmanship.

During the raffle draw, students eagerly waited for the winners. Minor prizes such as board games, bags and appliances were given to the students. More so, they enthusiastically anticipated the announcement of  the winners of scooters per section, bicycle per section, and Nintendo Switch Lite.

Apart from the intermission numbers per section, raffle, and games, a Roblox character and Pikachu also made the students excited and energetic. There were also face-painting and balloon-twisting activities that added to the fun especially to the younger ones. A photobooth was also put up to memorialize the day’s merrymaking.

The celebration ended with a blast as the Grade Four batch surprised their parents with a dance number. Parents and their families were delighted to see the boys onstage happily dancing with their batchmates.

The event was spearheaded by the Grade 4 CSQC-PTA led by Mrs. Vanessa Mollena with the help of Mr. Mark De Vera, Mrs. Daisy Magnayon, Mrs. Leah Umali, and all the hardworking PTA Officers. With the collaborative effort and dedication of the Student Affairs and Formation Coordinator, Ms. Almira Reynaldo, together with the Homeroom Advisers, Mrs. Marla F. Gammad, Mrs. Jasmin Kim Montemayor, Mrs. Sheryl R. Tarnate, and Mrs. Luzedel Cielo D. Weaver the Grade 4 Familly Day was an afternoon filled with gratitude. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
