As an essential aspect in the spiritual accompaniment of the Claretian students, 113 Claretians from Grades 3, 4, 5 and 8 received First Holy Communion last January 14, 2023. The Sacrament was held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Church and presided over by the Spiritual Director, Fr. Charles Jocris M. Mortela, CMF.

In his homily, Fr. CJ emphasized that receiving the First Holy Communion is one of the most memorable occasions in one’s life because it means receiving Jesus and being closer to him. He also reminded the first communicants to keep the commandment of loving Jesus and others.

Together with the first communicants, parents, guardians, teachers and members of the administration were present during the liturgical rites. In a special way, the assistance of the Faith Education and Enrichment Department, the CLE teachers, class advisers and Student Affairs and Formation Coordinators was a great help in the preparations and conduct of the said spiritual formation activity. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
