Claret School of Quezon City hosted the first general assembly of the Association of Private School Administrators (APSA) for School Year 2019 – 2020 last July 23, 2019. The assembly, led by Mr. Inno Madria, the APSA president, was attended by representatives from almost 300 private schools in Quezon City. They were welcomed by the School Director, Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF. The participants were also entertained with an Angklung presentation by the Claretian students from Grade 6-Apostolic under their music teacher Mr. Dave Antoniel Martinez.

Dr. Natividad P. Bayubay, Schools Division Superintendent of Quezon City delivered an inspirational talk and commended the private schools for their hard work in the schools and their dedication to their students. Other guest speakers were Mr. Arnel M. Peralta, Education Program Supervisor, and Ms. Rhodora Angela Ferrer, Executive Director of PEAC.

This gathering is done thrice a year to update each school of the pressing concerns and issues as well as the laws governing the private education sector. This is also a venue for the administrators and school owners to bring up their views and thoughts about the current practices and policies concerning the member schools. Election of district representatives is also held during this assembly.
