Nostalgia hit Claret School of Quezon City last February 17, 2024 as the Grades 4, 5, and 6 cluster celebrated their Family Day with the theme, Claret Unity Carnival: A Whirlwind of Family Fun.

Led by the energetic level presidents, Mrs. Ruby Pimentel (Grade 4), Mrs. Leonila Vanessa Anne Mollena (Grade 5), and Mrs. Melinda Delos Reyes (Grade 6) and the Student Activity and Formation Coordinator, Ms. Almira V. Reynaldo, families of the intermediate levels were treated to activities that are reminiscent of carnivals, circuses, and fairs. A sea of colors was seen as excitement built up at the Gallardo Hall.

The family day started with the Holy Mass which was celebrated by Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF, School Director and concelebrated by Fr. Charles Jocris “CJ” M. Mortela, CMF, Spiritual Director.

After the mass, Mrs. Razerly D. Ibanez, the School Principal gave her opening remarks which signaled the beginning of the activities for the day. Parents enjoyed watching the young Claretians perform for them. The Grade 4 students serenaded the community with “Tayo’y Claretiano.” The Grade 5 students turned into “minions” from the popular movie and presented a wonderful dance number while the Grade 6 students danced a remix of popular ‘90s music which sent their parents down memory lane.

After the performances, students and families were free to enjoy the games and booths prepared by the PTA. On top of raffle prizees, a stamp rally was issued to each student wherein they could have a chance to win prizes by completing the stamp rally. Some of the stamps to be collected included taking a selfie with your favorite teacher, participating in the games, watching the magic show or clown show, taking a selfie with your family by the welcome banner, or with your family with arms outstretch like a tree (which they dubbed “family tree”). Not a second was wasted and everyone enjoyed the activities together with friends and family.

As a wrap-up, the Grades 4, 5 and 6 faculty entertained the students and parents with a dance presentation. Truly, the fun never stopped during the Grades 4, 5, and 6 cluster family day. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
