In the afternoon of October 9, 2023, three administrators from Saint Mary’s University (Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya) visited Claret School of Quezon City for a benchmarking activity.

The members of the SMU team--Dr. Ma. Cristeta M. Aduca, Grade School Principal, Dr. Zayda S. Asuncion, JHS and Science High School Principal and Mr. Melencio G. Bernardino,Jr., Senior High School Principal—were  warmly welcomed by Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep CMF, School Director, the CSQC Academic Administration led by Mr. Rodelio T. Santos, APSDO Head and Mrs. Razerly D. Ibañez, Principal. The afternoon activity began with the prayer and was followed by a series of dialogues with representatives from the different offices.

Part 1 was a dialogue with the Academic Unit discussing remedial program, performance appraisal system of the faculty, internal quality assurance system and academic program. Part 2 was facilitated by the HRMDO Head, and the discussion centered on the induction program, succession plan and performance appraisal system for non-teaching personnel. Part 3 was discussed by the Faith Education and Enrichment Department which focused on the community extension program linkages and collaborations. The last part was a dialogue with the APSDO Head on External Quality Assurance System: PAASCU, Growth Program for Administrators, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Preventive Maintenance Program/Plan.

The activity culminated with a simple agape and the exchanging of tokens between the two institutions. Such benchmarking activity is a concrete sign of fraternal collaboration between Catholic institutions in the spirit of synodality. #ScientiaMaximeCumVirtute
