Geared towards establishing closer collaboration among the administrators in the new Integrated Basic Education set-up, Claret School of Quezon City through the Human Resource Management Development Office conducted a team-building activity for all newly appointed middle-level and top-level administrators last August 20, 2022 at Timberland Highlands Resort, San Mateo, Rizal. Aligned with this school year’s theme--Afire with Mission in the Service of the Gospel: We are Missionaries, Rooted in Christ—the activity aimed to integrate Claretian formative aspects with the ongoing professional development and competency of administrators, to foster creativity, innovation, communication, and to strengthen team spirit and rapport among the administrators through socialization and recreation activities.

Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF, the School Director set the tone of the team-building activity with his reflections on the administrators’ role in realizing the vision and mission of the School by having a discerning heart and spirit as they go through formative and transformative processes, setting personal and professional objectives clearly aligned to the institutional objectives, defining and understanding responsibilities, and collaborating with all the members of the Institution in the spirit of humility, dialogue and synodality.

Separately grouped in three, the 28 participants were given three challenges and a final activity which tested varied administrative skills like creativity, innovation, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. The fun-filled challenges crafted by the HRMDO Team hoped to foster genuine team spirit among the administrators.

During the synthesis session, the entire group was led by the HRMDO Head to a reflection-sharing activity which was framed within the life and witness of St. Anthony Mary Claret.

The entire day was capped with the awarding of special awards and certificates and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
