As a way of highlighting the importance of literacy among individuals, communities and societies,  the International Literacy Day (ILD) is observed worldwide on September 8, 2021.

With this year’s theme,“Literacy for a Human-Centered Recovery:Narrowing the Digital Divide”, the Grade School Unit lined-up a series of activities to be one with the world in celebrating ILD 2021. These activities scheduled from September 8 to 15 aim to: promote the critical importance of literacy among Claretians and the community in this time of pandemic; empower Claretians to improve their lives through literacy and appreciate its outcomes; provide students venues to express their creativity, practice critical thinking, share their talents and skills and to appreciate available resources in an ODL setup and lastly, use literacy as a driver for sustainable development. CHEERS TO LITERACY!
