The formation program for all CSQC personnel on Claretian Spirituality continues this school year 2021-2022 as the Faith Education and Enrichment Department (FEED) launched the first Integration Day Program (IDP) last July 31, 2021 using the MS Teams meeting platform.

Being servants of the Word, as explicitly stated in the School’s Vision and as a fundamental pillar of Claretian Spirituality, the formation series on the Bible is offered to all Claretian employees. Last SY 2020-2021, the IDP was centered on the Old Testament books, on its historical and cultural contexts and its audience and fundamental themes and implications.

Fr. Alejandro “Alex” Gobrin, CMF, the Claretian biblicist, the coordinator of the Claretian East Asian Conference, and one of the directors of the CBCP’s Episcopal Commission on Biblical Apostolate, continued his exposition on the Bible—now focused on the New Testament. The first in the series this school year, Fr. Alex talked about Jesus: The Word and Message—Engaging with the Gospels.

As a new way of delivery, the IDP now integrates small group sharing and concludes with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Spearheaded by the FEED with Fr. Amador C. Tumbaga, CMF, the Spiritual Director, the Integration Day Programs will be facilitated every month as the Claretian Missionaries continue to share their missionary charism to the collaborators in the mission in Claret School of Quezon City. It is hoped that the said formation program will set the missionary dynamism of the Claretian employees as they transmit Claretian values to the students.
