Claret Technical-Vocational Education and Training Center

The Claret Technical-Vocational Education and Training Center (CLARETECH), which is TESDA- accredited provides full scholarship that will empower the jobless/unemployed out-of-school youth, women, heads of families with technical and vocational skills and competencies they need to get jobs or be employed to support themselves and their families. Through the unique system of CLARETECH, it will allow the student’s progression between technical-vocational education and training and a college degree program through Ladderized Education System. This way, the students become workers who acquire income to pay for continuing or further studies and earn a college degree later.

The Center offers short-term courses like:

  •      -> Sewing (Dressmaking, Tailoring and Embroidery),
  •      -> Information and Communications Technology courses (Computer Programming NCIV,
  •      -> Computer Hardware Servicing NCII and Computer Technician),
  •      -> Hotel and Restaurant Service (Housekeeping NCII, Front Office NCII, and Commercial Cooking NCII)

    and livelihood programs like:

  •      -> beads and crafts, meat processing,
  •      -> flower and balloon arrangement,
  •      -> soap making known as Mothers Craft.

What is unique about the Center is that, all the Courses we offer include Human and Spiritual Formation (Values Formation and Clarification): English Proficiency: Basic Labor Law Provisions; and Personality Development subjects to equip students not only with technical education and skills but the required aptitude, competencies and qualities needed to get employed here and abroad. Included in our program are provisions of tools and kits, materials, school supplies and uniform. Another significant feature of the Center’s program is the Pastoral Counseling and Accompaniment which do not only focus on the students themselves but also on their families. After course completion, the Center provides assistance for local and international job placement. We just don’t give fish-we assist and teach them how to fish!
